冯原 Feng Yuan
Feng Yuan is a Doctor of Architecture and a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Communication and Design, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). He is a prominent interdisciplinary scholar active in the fields of contemporary art, architectural criticism, and visual culture research. His research encompasses urban landscapes, spatial politics, and the psychology of mass culture, striving to reconstruct cultural narratives amid the social transformations of contemporary China through the analysis of visual symbols.
Renowned for his keen insight and unique philosophical perspective, Feng’s creative and critical works hold significant influence across the international art, architecture, and design communities. He has curated and directed numerous large-scale public art projects and intermedia exhibitions, and has been a frequent lecturer at prestigious universities and art institutions. As a vital observer of contemporary culture, he continues to foster deep dialogues between art, architecture, and sociology through an interdisciplinary lens. He currently lives and works in Guangzhou.
建筑学博士，中山大学传播与设计学院教授、博士生导师。冯原是一位活跃于当代艺术、建筑批评与视觉文化研究领域的跨学科学者。他的研究触角延伸至城市景观、空间政治以及大众文化心理，致力于通过对视觉符号的解析，重构当代中国社会变迁下的文化叙事。
