Yiyi Qin is an interdisciplinary artist, jewelry designer, and the founder of YU artspace. Based in Guangzhou, Shanghai, and San Francisco, her practice explores the convergence of technology and art, integrating strategic design thinking into visionary artistic creation and embodied aesthetic experiences. She holds an M.F.A. from Donghua University and pursued a DMBA (Design Strategy) at the California College of the Arts (CCA), a multidisciplinary background that drives her continuous exploration of media innovation.
With a decade of expertise in jewelry art, Qin is the founder and Creative Director of the independent brand Meetcure Jade. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Poly (Beijing) International Auction x Emerging Jewelry Designer Alliance, with her works consistently featured in Poly’s prestigious annual and anniversary auctions. Her artistic vision spans from intricate jewelry to large-scale public installations, with works exhibited at the Shanghai Printmaking Exhibition and accolades from the “Hui Chuang Qing Chun” Exhibition. Currently, she serves as a Council Member of the Guangdong Young Artists Association and continues to foster cross-disciplinary dialogues as an artist, curator, and producer.
