Feng Yuan is a Doctor of Architecture and a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Communication and Design, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). He is a prominent interdisciplinary scholar active in the fields of contemporary art, architectural criticism, and visual culture research. His research encompasses urban landscapes, spatial politics, and the psychology of mass culture, striving to reconstruct cultural narratives amid the social transformations of contemporary China through the analysis of visual symbols.

Huang Yue & Pei Shuo are a collaborative duo of contemporary ceramic artists dedicated to the long-term study of the cultural context within ceramic materials. Their practice focuses on the “Field” and “Process” of creation, navigating the intersection between material materiality and cultural narrative. By emphasizing the performative and situational aspects of ceramic art, they explore the evolving expressive potential of this ancient medium within a contemporary framework.

Their works have been featured in numerous exhibitions, reflecting a profound inquiry into the sociology of materials. Currently, both artists work at Donghua University in Shanghai, where they balance their artistic practice with dedicated material research and development.
